Topiary, a new bar in Hong Kong’s Soho district, commissioned for this photoshoot to highlight their French-inspired decor, creative cocktails, and innovative vegetarian bar food.
I arrived in the afternoon to start off with some food photography in the natural light and capture their outdoor patios in the day time. We started off with their 11 signature cocktails, each with a unique feature.
The one that really stood out for me was the raspberry cocktail paired with a side of a fragrance oil, dispersed by the spectacular dry ice vapor. It truly was an experience of taste, sight, and smell!
The interior designer behind the bar’s decor, Laura Cheung of LALA CURIO, stopped by to show me around the space and explained the wonderful details behind Topiary’s interiors. There were Art Deco motifs along the walls and on the screen doors, custom wallpapers, and carefully curated elements that make the bar a nice French garden getaway.
I’m also so proud that Topiary was recently featured as one of the top 8 new bars in Hong Kong by Sassy Hong Kong! Guess who took the featured photo on the article? 😉
