Thanks to HKwalls, a non-profit organization for promoting street art and street culture, Hong Kong is now a host to an ever-growing number of beautiful street murals. I photographed the street art in the Sheung Wan district coordinated by HKwalls for Home Journal magazine.
The project had me roaming the hilly streets of Sheung Wan on a hunt for these colorful walls, which was a great excuse for me to discover alley ways in Hong Kong that I may otherwise not notice. The artists who created the artwork here were Rukkit, Parent’s Parents, and Philippe Baudelocque.
